The purpose of the style guide is to provide information pertaining accessibility, style information for consistency across all guides, LibGuides formats and templates, and marketing resources. It was designed for guide editors and administrators who need access to tools and information pertaining to guide creation and maintenance.
LibGuides is based on the Bootstrap 3.4.1. In a recent seminar, it has been announced that LibGuides is working on updating to Bootstrap 4. This is important as some components in Bootstrap 4 or 5 will not work in Bootstrap 3. If you are coding anything, please contact Hope for assistance to make sure it will mesh with the current version of Bootstrap.
WYSIWYG: What you see is what you get.
It is an editor where you can input text, images, links and more without having to know code. In LibGuides, it gives many options that will be translated to code in the backend.
