Greenwood Library (2016-2022): Course Reserves

Search Reserves

Search to locate materials placed on reserve in the Library. You can search by professor’s last name or by course (e.g., BIOL 101).

Physical Reserves

All physical reserves may be checked out at the Desk. Students may request course reserves by professor and course number.

Reserve materials have limited check out periods as specified by the faculty member and may not be renewed.

Use the search box above to locate materials placed on reserve in the Library. You can search by professor’s last name or by course (e.g., BIOL 101). Materials that are that are available for use will show as “Faculty Reserves — AVAILABLE” in the Call # column.

Electronic Reserves

Electronic reserves are digital copies that you can download and view on a computer. To access electronic reserves:

  1. Use the search box above to find out what materials have been placed on reserve in the Library.
  2. Search by your professor’s last name or by course (e.g., BIOL 101).
  3. From the course page, click the title of the e-reserve item you wish to view. E-reserve items will say “Electronic Copy” in the Format column.
  4. Enter your name, patron ID (your “L Number” is your patron ID), and the course password provided by your instructor and click “Submit.”
  5. The file will open as a PDF. To print, use the Acrobat print icon just above the document, not the print icon or print menu option at the top for your browser.
  6. Click the “Back” button twice to return to the course page.

If you are accessing e-reserves that link directly to an online database from off-campus, you may be required to enter your LancerNet ID and password before viewing the article.

You will need Adobe Reader or another PDF viewer in order to view e-reserves.
