ENGL 350 Linguistics and Language Learning: An introduction to the study of language with an emphasis on language as a human system, including language acquisition, the cognitive and social significance of language, language change and variation, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse analysis, historical linguistics, and psycholinguistics.
