Feeling overwhelmed with end of term papers, projects and exams?
Greenwood Library can help!  

The end of semester is always stressful with final exams and term projects coming due. Sometimes you need a break from all the stress and to relax for a bit. Greenwood Library is here for the rescue! We've found some relaxation tips that you can do with our collections and equipment-- FOR FREE! Check it out and don't forget to swing by the Library for goodie bags, coloring pages, puzzles, and more!

#1: Go star gazing

Did you know we have Celestron Telescope Nexstar 5se available for check out?   Heafty Jeff and Big Bertha are our two telescopes with everything you need to enjoy a night of stargazing.

#2: Have a Movie Night

Take a night off and watch a movie that you enjoy.  Whether it be comedy, drama, musical or a thriller — we’ve got a wide variety in our collections.  For newer titles, check the Greenwood Library Media Box.

You can also borrow a DVD player, projector or portal DVD player with a built in screen — all from Greenwood Library. Learn more about our Loanable Technology on the library website.

#5: Listen to an Audiobook

Did you know that Greenwood Library has a sizable collection of audiobooks through Overdrive? Follow these instructions to set up your account today With OverDrive, you can borrow and enjoy free eBooks, audiobooks, and more from your library or school's digital collection.
To access, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Overdrive.com or install the Overdrive app on Google Play or Apple Store.
  2. Find Longwood University in the search box for libraries.
  3. You'll need a current student/staff/faculty ID to complete the sign in. Sign in using your LancerNet username and password.
  4. Start borrowing!
#6: Do a Puzzle

Clear your mind with a puzzle. It doesn't matter what kind of puzzle, just focus on the here and now when you do it. A variety of puzzles (Sudoku, Crosswords, and Word Searches) are available in the library for a quick grab and go!

Take some time and color your anxiety away.There are coloring pages and color yourself bookmarks available at the library.
