Submitting to Digital Commons for 2023 Spring Student Showcase

Navigate to Submission page

Submitting Your Project

Fill in as many fields listed below as you can. If you have difficulty, contact Hope Alwine to assist you.

Author(s)

You can add authors using the green plus in the lower right-hand corner on the author box.  Be sure to include you and other author's email address as this is how they will receive the email with the URL for the project.

Document Type

Most projects will have multiple components but select the main portion of the project.  For example, if a student is giving a presentation of a poster, select Poster as the presentation type.

Publication Date

April 19, 2023

Keywords

Select a few words that describe your project and put commas between each set of words.  You can have more than one word as a keyword.  For example: criticism, Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer

Discipline

The Discipline selection is how Digital Commons will sort it within the greater Digital Commons community.  Simply click the plus button to see the options and add or remove your desired discipline.  You may leave it blank if you desire.

Abstract

Please provide an Abstract as it will help make your work more discoverable within Digital Commons as well as through Google and other search engines.

Comments

If you had a faculty advisor, please place their name in the Comments section.

Remote Media File

The Remote Media File field is if you have a presentation uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo.

Full Text of Presentation

You can upload your poster, paper, picture, or original video here.  If you have more than one file (such as if you have a paper that accompanies a poster, check the additional files checkbox).

Additional Files

You will be directed to another page after you hit submit, where you will upload the additional files separately.  You can only upload one file at a time.  You are required to add a title for each file.

After that, you are finished!  The administrators will post the project.
