Borrowing from Other Libraries

You can search the collections of other libraries via WorldCat. If Greenwood Library has what you’re looking for, our name will appear on the item page and you’ll be able to click right to it. If we don’t own what you need, WorldCat will list other libraries’ holdings by geographical proximity to you.

Search for an item in libraries near you:

Once you find an item you would like from another library, you may request it to be delivered to Greenwood Library through interlibrary loan. Articles typically take a couple of days and books can take a week or two depending on the lending library's location.

Alternatively, you can visit any of the cooperating libraries in Virginia request to borrow materials on-site. To see the list of cooperating libraries, visit the  VIVA website. This is especially useful if you live elsewhere than Farmville and another library is closer to you.
