Collection Review: Collection Review

The library is always in the process of improving our collections so that we support current research and curricular needs, and that we offer “adequate and appropriate library and learning/information resources” (SACSCOC).

Fall 2023 areas for review:

We will review the following Library of Congress areas:

  • H (Social Sciences)

  • L (Education)

  • R (Medicine) 

  • T (Technology) 

  • Z (Biography, Library Science, Information Resources).

Other sections will be reviewed at a later date.

Timeline:

Review will begin Monday, September 25, 2023

Departments should complete their review by Monday, October 30, 2023. 

Process:

Please use the Excel sheet below to review titles in the identified areas. 

FOR ELECTRONIC REVIEW:

  • Departments should contact their liaison librarian with any titles identified for retention.

FOR IN-PERSON REVIEW:
