Virginia Hispanic Chamber

The Virginia Hispanic Chamber, founded in 1972, hosts a multitude of events starting in early September to early November. The members of this organization have set up different outreach events all across Virginia and Washington D.C. to encourage learning and exploration of Hispanic Culture.

The list of events can be found on the event page under Hispanic Heritage month, and allows the option for community members to submit their own event. 

 

Virginia Hispanic Foundation

The Virginia Hispanic Foundation focuses on education on Hispanic culture as well as aiding the Hispanic community in how to integrate into the commonwealth of Virginia. 

the foundation hosts an education week, which takes you on a journey to 20 different Latin American countries during National Hispanic Heritage month! 

VALHEN

The Virginia Latino Higher Education Network works to help first generation Virginia college students to succeed and continue their college journey successfully. They offer scholarships and funding to students, outreach, and network opportunities, as well as advocating for programs and policies that continue to help in accessibility to first generation students.
