Database for chemical literature (produced by the Chemical Abstracts Service- CAS). Search by author, topic, substance name or CAS Registry Number, and draw chemical structures or reactions. Core research tool for chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, nanotechnology, physics and environmental science.

Log in to your SciFinder User Account.

If you do not have one, please use the registration instructions below. 

SciFinder Registration

• Step 1: Set up an account using your Longwood email (@longwood.edu or @live.longwood.edu.) You must be on campus in order to setup and activate your account.

• Step 2: Check you email for a confirmation link from SciFinder within 48 hours.  Check  spam if you do not see it in your inbox. 

• Step 3: Log in to Scifinder.
