Need in-depth help from a librarian?
Librarians are on-call from 1-4 pm Monday - Friday, and Sunday - Wednesday from 6-9 pm, during the semester. If those times don't work for you or there are no appointment times available please be sure to email us; we'll do our best to work with your schedule.
The Greenwood Library offers a program of instruction that is designed to fit the specific needs of faculty members’ course work. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with faculty and provide library instruction sessions tailored to specific course objectives and assignments.
Our goal is to enable students to recognize the types of information best suited to the argument, and effectively locate, critically evaluate, appropriately use, and ethically cite the information. A session in research strategy can help your students become more productive and effective information seekers.
To schedule instruction, you may fill out the form below, or contact your liaison librarian directly.
When possible, we request a minimum of 10 days notice so that we may tailor each session individually to suit your unique class needs.
We have found that library instruction works best if there is a specific assignment (if there’s a research paper, after a thesis statement has been developed). Please give us at least 10 days time before the desired session so that we can prepare. You will be contacted via e-mail or phone to confirm the date and time you have requested. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your liaison.
