The Atrium

This study space allows students to rearrange the furniture as needed for their projects. There are a limited number of outlets on the floor. The Atrium also contains two self-check machines, a charging station that provides adaptors for a variety of phones, and the recreational reading bookshelf.

The Learning Commons

This large space includes 76 computer stations, both PC and Mac stations. In the center of the room is our Mediascape, which allows student groups to work together on one screen.  We also provide a book scanner which allows you to save PDFs of your scans onto a jump drive or email them to yourself.

Room 147A

Room 147A - Research Strategy Lab

147A is a classroom usually used for Library Instruction. It is equipped with three large flat screen monitors mounted on the walls. When not being used for Library Instruction, the space is open for students to use as a study area.

The “Mac Lab” as it’s also called, houses 17 iMacs and 5 scanners, as well as video cassette-to-DVD equipment.

Room 150 & 151

These two rooms are group study rooms on the back wall of the Learning Commons. Both rooms have whiteboards on the walls, and Room 150 has a large monitor (pictured to the left). These spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Group Study Room

This space includes half of our physical collection.  Along two walls are multiple tables with glass tops that can be used as whiteboard surfaces. The back wall features study rooms which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Room 209A & 209B

Room 209A & 209B

Located in the Group Study Room, this partitioned room seats 50 (25 on each side).  This classroom is often reserved for classes, Library Instruction, and club meetings. When not in use, students are welcome to use the technology and space.

Room 210 - Humanities Reading Room 

Also located in the Group Study Room, the Humanities Reading Room was established in Summer 2014. This space is dedicated to students; feel free to use the comfy couches and large table for group or individual studying.

Located on the back wall of the Quiet Study Room and the Group Study Room, our study rooms are equipped with a table and 1-2 chairs. These rooms are available on a first come first service basis. Please be courteous to those in the Quiet Study Room and keep the noise level low.

Juvenile Reading Room

Children’s Literature Room

This room houses the library’s Children’s Literature collection and a computer lab reserved for student, staff, & faculty use (access granted with your LancerCard).  Also in the back corner of the Children’s Literature Room is a group study space.

EJ Wulff

Room 201 - Computer Lab

This computer lab located in the Children’s Literature Room has 20 computer stations, 4 are equipped with Assistive software (these stations are labeled). This room is reserved for student, staff, & faculty use and requires a LancerCard for entrance.

Quiet Study Room

Quiet Study Room

Equipped with individual carrels and power sources, this space is used for students who would like a quieter study experience. Please be courteous to others in the Quiet Study Room and keep the noise level low. The back wall features study rooms which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For patrons who might need access to assistive software, the Library has provided ZoomText and Kurzweil 3000 on select computers.
